The Cellar Door

Our cellar door is a stunning, cosy space to sample delicious wines grown on the lands you can see right in front of you.  Architecturally designed by Cumulus Studio and handcrafted by stonemasons from the sandstone excavated from the site, the cellar door is welcoming and inclusive, with scenic views out over the ever-changing valley to kunanyi.

We are open for wine tastings and for wines sold by the glass/bottle. Wine tastings are offered at $15 per person and includes our current wine range (presently nine wines). If you enjoy the wines but live elsewhere, we are able to post wine all around Australia. To complement our wine list, we offer a wine bar menu everyday from Thursday to Monday, with a selection of small plates and shared dishes, designed for communal dining and perfect for pairing with our wines. Join us for a seated wine tasting where you will experience our current wines and hear about the vineyard story and how it came to be. Everything you will taste is grown at Caledon, we are a single site vineyard and proud of it.

Wine tastings are $15 per person and include all the current wines (presently nine wines). Tastings are available during our opening hours (10-5pm Thursday to Monday). Please note the tasting experience takes between 30-45 minutes with the latest tasting time being 4.15pm.

Eating at Caledon

Please note that from the 16th November, the al a carte menu by Paul Foreman on weekends will no longer be available.

Instead we will be offering a wine bar inspired menu from Thursday to Monday. Beginning the 1st December, the menu features dishes designed to be shared with family and friends, with a focus on local ingredients and supporting local growers and producers. Dishes will be created to pair with our wines providing a special experience of premium Tasmanian wine and food. We are able to cater for dietary restrictions.

The current menu is attached below but please note it is subject to change and will grow and evolve as we settle in and find our groove.
