The Cellar Door

Our cellar door is a stunning, cosy space to sample delicious wines grown on the lands you can see right in front of you.  Architecturally designed by Cumulus Studio and handcrafted by stonemasons from the sandstone excavated from the site, the cellar door is welcoming and inclusive, with scenic views out over the ever-changing valley to kunanyi.

We are open for wine tastings and for wines sold by the glass/bottle. Wine tastings are offered at $10 per person and includes our current wine range (presently seven wines). If you enjoy the wines but live elsewhere, we are able to post wine all around Australia. To complement our wine list, we offer cheese platters on weekdays (Thursday, Friday and Monday) and an al a carte menu on weekends featuring local Tasmanian produce (11.45-4pm, Saturdays and Sundays).

Please note: From Friday October 10th our al a carte menu will also be available on Fridays 11.45-4pm).

WineTastings

Join us for a seated wine tasting where you will experience our current wines and hear about the vineyard story and how it came to be. Everything you will taste is grown at Caledon, we are a single site vineyard and proud of it.

Wine tastings are $10 per person and include all the current wines (presently seven). Tastings are available anytime during our opening hours (10-5pm Thursday to Monday).

Weekend Dining

On weekends the al a carte menu showcases the finest local Tasmanian produce, crafted by Chef Paul Foreman.

Our cellar door welcomes you Saturdays and Sundays from 10-5pm, with the kitchen serving from 11.45-4pm. Pair our cool climate wines with dishes that celebrate the incredible bounty of our local region.

Please note: From Friday October 10th we will be offering the al a carte menu on Fridays as well as the weekends.

Menu Subject to Change

Weekday Platters

Visit us Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays for a more relaxed experience at the vineyard.

Indulge with our delightful cheese platter, the duck or chicken terrine, and enjoy our more-ish black truffle crisps. Each matching beautifully with our Caledon wines, making for a great pairing.

Please note: From Friday October 10th we will be offering an al a carte menu on Fridays, instead of our platters.
